[Mirror Implementation Case] Measures against near-misses in the office!

The green warning plate is effective. The near-miss report states, "I saw a person approaching and avoided an accident by stopping!"

We would like to introduce the feedback from Company N's Safety and Disaster Prevention Promotion Office, who implemented the FF mirror corridor. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… The FF mirror corridor was first installed in our office. After that, we received numerous requests from other buildings saying, "We want one too," and we installed it each time. We always attach the optional caution plates. We like the green color that indicates safety and the charming design. There were comments from employees in near-miss reports stating, "We were able to confirm that a person was approaching and stopped, which helped us avoid an accident." [Mirror Implementation Case] Establishing a Safe and Secure Office Environment with Mirror Installation

To create a company where employees and students feel "vibrant and eager to work," it is essential to establish a safe and secure environment.

We introduced FF mirrors, and here are the voices from SMBC Green Service. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… During the planning phase for the new headquarters building, we considered the placement of mirrors for collision prevention. Utilizing the free rental system, we selected appropriate mirrors along the employees' pathways. By creating a safe and secure office environment, I believe we can effectively employ and utilize our valuable human resources for the first time. The mirrors are extremely useful. [Mirror Implementation Case] Safety measures during crowded times in train station restrooms!

[Near Miss Prevention] Preventing head-on collisions at the entrance and exit of restrooms! A mirror with a blurred finish that also considers privacy.

We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors we handle were implemented at Saitama Rapid Railway (Urawa Misato Station). Urawa Misato Station sometimes experiences a concentration of customers during events. To prevent customers from colliding with each other when entering and exiting the restrooms during such times, the station staff requested measures to be taken, leading to the installation of mirrors. "We received feedback that thanks to the mirrors, station staff can anticipate the presence of people on the other side when they enter the restrooms during their patrols, which helps prevent collisions at the entrances and exits." [Case Study] ■ Product Used: FF Mirror Awareness ■ Customer Feedback: It helps prevent head-on collisions at the restroom entrances and exits. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Implementation Case] Collision avoidance while considering privacy!

Introducing a case of collision avoidance using a mirror with a blurred effect, while considering privacy! (Hitachi Transport System, Metropolitan Area)

We would like to introduce a case study of the 'FF Mirror with Blur' handled by Komi Corporation, implemented at Hitachi Logistics Metropolitan Area. They were considering installing mirrors as a safety measure in their newly established warehouse, as they believed there was a risk of collisions in the corridor in front of the restroom. When they tried our product with the "blurred processing" for the first time, it proved to be very effective for the intended purpose (reducing the risk of collisions when entering and exiting the restroom). Furthermore, the "blur" not only effectively protects privacy but also allows the company to demonstrate that they are considerate of privacy, enabling them to confidently implement it throughout the facility. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Safety mirror introduction case: Smooth walking training in the rehabilitation floor!

Measures against near misses and caregiving monitoring! There's a big difference between having and not having! A case where walking training in the rehabilitation area was able to proceed without disrupting the pace.

We would like to introduce a case study of the mirror "Rami," handled by Komi Corporation, which was implemented at Azukizawa Hospital. In the rehabilitation department located on the 4th floor of the hospital, the corridor is used as a walking training circuit. Patients undergoing training have previously walked cautiously around corners due to fear of collisions. As a result, their walking pace slowed down, making it difficult to measure accurately, and it did not contribute effectively to rehabilitation. Since the installation of this product, patients can check for safety without stopping, allowing them to walk without disrupting their pace. It is also used for checking left and right when exiting the restroom and for confirming when bringing a stretcher out of the bathroom. [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: Rami ■ Effect: Safety checks can be performed without stopping *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Safety mirror introduction case: For safety confirmation when exiting the backyard to the store!

A case where it became possible to check customers coming from both sides using a mirror when exiting the store from the backyard (Aeon Mall Kawaguchi Maekawa).

We would like to introduce a case where the mirrors we handle were implemented at Aeon Mall Kawaguchi Maekawa. At Aeon Mall Kawaguchi Maekawa, there was a concern about the passage from the back yard to the store being dangerous due to the frequent movement of carts. By installing mirrors, employees can now check for customers coming from both sides when exiting the back yard to the store. From the customers' perspective, they can also see the employees coming out through the mirror, and for cleaning staff and employees moving in and out with carts, the mirrors serve as a reminder to be cautious, leading them to stop momentarily, thus contributing to safety measures. [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: FF Mirror ■ Effect: Contributing to safety measures *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Safety measures Case study on mirror implementation for safety measures at apartment parking lot entrances and exits.

Safety check at the entrance and exit of the parking lot's landscaping! (CENTER RESIDENCE)

We would like to share the feedback from CENTER RESIDENCE, who introduced FF mirrors for vehicle exits and FF mirror standalone embedded types as safety measures at the entrance and exit of the condominium parking lot. When exiting the parking lot located behind the condominium, I couldn't see the sidewalk well due to the blind spots created by the block wall and the building. I was always worried that an accident might occur someday. We installed mirrors on both sides of the entrance; one is attached to the block wall and the other to the planting area. Both have a simple design that does not detract from the condominium's appearance. Now, the previously blind sidewalk is clearly visible.

[Case Study of Safety Mirrors] Want to cover the blind spot on the left side when exiting.

Reducing stress from safety checks! Covering blind spots beyond protruding walls with convex mirrors.

Here is an example of a safety mirror proposal suggested by Shin-ei Bussan. At a certain dental clinic in Higashi-Osaka City, there was a protruding wall on the left side of the parking lot entrance, making it very dangerous as it was impossible to see oncoming pedestrians. The installation location for the mirror was also limited, creating a very challenging situation. By securing a pole to the handrail at the clinic's entrance and installing the mirror at a high position, we were able to create an angle that completely covered the blind spot. 【Implementation Case】 ■ Effects - The elimination of blind spots reduced the stress of safety checks and helped prevent accidents. ■ Products Introduced - Stainless Steel Mirror S-3W - Pole B-5W *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] Strengthening Safety at Corners!

It has helped enhance safety at the corners. The FF mirror can be installed at eye level, allowing blind spots to be naturally visible. (Nippon Steel Setouchi Works)

We would like to introduce the feedback from Nippon Steel Corporation, Setouchi Steel Works, who implemented the FF mirror corridor. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… The mirrors that were previously installed at blind corners were positioned too high, making it easy to overlook them. Therefore, we decided to install the FF mirrors, which provide a wide-angle view on a flat surface, at a lower height. This way, they naturally catch the eye (three locations with FT46). This has strengthened our safety measures. We are currently considering additional measures for other areas that require attention. [Mirror Introduction Case] Preventing collisions at the bottom of the stairs!

This mirror is very nice. You can check for people coming from the other side of the hallway while going down the stairs.

We would like to introduce the feedback from Asahi Kasei Kawasaki Manufacturing Plant, who implemented the FF mirror corridor. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… I often move between the first and second floors for work, and there were many times when I almost collided with someone coming from the other side of the corridor right after descending the stairs, which was quite alarming. When I consulted with the safety department, they provided a solution with a mirror. This mirror allows me to see across the corridor from the stairs, and it also enables me to see people coming down from the top of the stairs from the corridor, which is very helpful. [Mirror Implementation Case] Ensuring Safe Passage for Forklifts!

We would like to introduce a case where blind spots have been eliminated, allowing forklifts to pass through safely! (Totez Maintenance)

We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of "Rami," handled by Komi Corporation, at Tōtetsu Maintenance. There were blind spots in the warehouse where forklifts could potentially collide, so we decided to install mirrors. Since there was no need to see the upper area, we chose our product that provides a 180° view of the lower area. When there were no mirrors, we had to proceed slowly and visually check the blind spots. Now, by looking at the mirrors, we can predict that "there are no forks in the direction of travel and none are approaching," allowing for safe passage. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] Reducing Stress During Cargo Transportation!

The stress of transporting luggage has significantly decreased! A case where blind spot situations have become clear (Tama Medical PFI).

We would like to introduce a case where the mirror "Rami," handled by Komi Corporation, was implemented at Tama Medical PFI. In the hospital corridors, large carts carrying heavy loads often pass through, so those transporting items have developed the habit of carefully pushing their carts while being mindful not to collide, moving "slowly and cautiously." Since installing this product, they can proceed with an understanding of the situation around the corners, providing a sense of security. "We cannot say that the speed of transportation has increased just because we have installed the mirror, but the stress during transportation has significantly decreased, and we have received positive feedback from the staff," was the feedback we received. [Case Overview] ■ Product Used: Rami ■ Effects - Ability to proceed with an understanding of the situation around corners - Significant reduction in stress when transporting items *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] Eliminating near-miss incidents during the movement of beds and stretchers!

Staff alert! There have been fewer near-miss incidents during the movement of beds and stretchers (Tama Hills Hospital).

We would like to introduce a case where "FF Mirror Corridor (One-Sided)" handled by Komi Corporation was implemented at Tama Hills Hospital. Initially, measures were taken at 10 high-priority locations, and requests for additional areas were raised by the staff from each ward, leading to the purchase of 9 more mirrors, tailored to the width of the corridors and installation locations. Even in wider corridors, there were moments of concern when moving beds or stretchers, but the introduction of this product has helped to raise staff awareness. 【Case Overview】 ■ Product Used: FF Mirror Corridor (One-Sided) ■ Effect: Reduced instances of concern during the movement of beds and stretchers. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Mirror Introduction Case] Ensuring safety on roads with heavy traffic!

Measures for near-miss incidents and parking lot safety measures! Introduction of mirrors that can be installed even in places without walls for safety confirmation on roads with heavy traffic!

We would like to introduce a case where our "FF Mirror Standalone Embedded Type" was implemented at Aoki Shinkin Bank, Urawa Branch. At this branch, the street in front of the parking lot is a major road with heavy traffic, which posed a safety concern. Therefore, we decided to install the Comy mirror that is set up at the head office. As a result of the installation, the visibility of the street in front improved, allowing for safer exits from the parking lot. 【Overview】 ■ Product Used: FF Mirror Standalone Embedded Type ■ Effect: Improved visibility of the street in front, enabling safer exits from the parking lot. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Case study of safety mirror introduction: Preventing collisions in hallways! Installed at the eye level of wheelchair users.

Near-miss prevention measures: Preventing collisions in hallways! An example of installing mirrors at a low position for wheelchair users (Tokyo Business Services).

We would like to introduce a case study of the "FF Mirror Corridor (One-Sided)/(Two-Sided)" handled by Komi Corporation, which was implemented at Tokyo Business Services. We had felt the need for collision prevention in the corridor for some time, and the opportunity for implementation arose when we learned that another company in the same building had installed our mirrors. The mirrors can be installed at a height that suits the line of sight, so we placed them slightly lower than usual to accommodate wheelchair users. In corridors with elevators and restrooms, employees tend to gather all at once during lunch breaks, creating a sense of danger. However, since the mirrors were installed, we can now anticipate when people are coming. 【Case Overview】 ■ Products Used: FF Mirror Corridor (One-Sided)/FF Mirror Corridor (Two-Sided) ■ Effect: Collision prevention in crowded hallways *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Safety measures: Examples of mirror usage for collision prevention in accommodation facilities.

It is very helpful for safety measures in the narrow corridors that become cramped with guests' luggage. (Hotel Gracery Shinjuku)

We would like to introduce the feedback from Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, which has implemented FF mirror corridors and Lami as safety measures in the hallways of their accommodation facilities. At the Safety and Health Committee, a concern was raised that "guests' luggage is often in the hallway, making it narrow and likely to cause collisions." Initially, we had installed the 'FF Mirror Corridor Left and Right (FT22),' but there was a request to increase the size of the mirrors, so we changed to the 'FF Mirror Corridor Left and Right (FT46).' Additionally, due to the high volume of luggage in the hallways and the frequent foot traffic from employees and vendors, we also introduced 'Lami (L5)' as a safety measure this time. As a result of installing the mirrors, it seems that almost all staff members are now checking the mirrors to confirm that no one is coming from either side, and the likelihood of collisions has significantly decreased.

【Case Study of Security Mirror Installation】I want to check the blind spots of vehicles.

Accident prevention with mirrors that can cover blind spots extensively at a low cost!

We would like to introduce a case study of the safety mirrors proposed by Shin-ei Bussan. There have been a series of tragic accidents where children have been caught and killed in mechanical parking lots. In response, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism issued guidelines to ensure that the situation inside the boarding and alighting area can be monitored from the control panel as a safety measure. In light of this, our company proposed a low-cost mirror to a certain mechanical parking lot manufacturer that provides a wide view without being too small. This has been helpful in preventing accidents. [Case Study] ■ Effects - Contributed to safety checks and increased safety awareness ■ Products Introduced - Half-spherical mirrors R-30H, R-50H, R-70 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Safety Mirrors] Want to improve the efficiency of vehicle inspections.

Improving work efficiency! Even if the mirror breaks, it can be replaced; the brackets and back panel are made of durable stainless steel.

Here is a case study of the safety mirror proposed by Shin-ei Bussan. At a certain railway company, during vehicle inspections, the method for checking the headlights involved getting off the vehicle and walking around to confirm the lights were on. To improve inspection efficiency, they considered installing mirrors and requested a solution that would be "as compact as possible due to strong winds" and "usable outdoors for about 10 to 15 years." We proposed a mirror made of stainless steel for the plate and brackets, which is resistant to rust and ensures strength. Since its introduction, it has been used without any issues and requires no maintenance. [Case Study] ■ Effects - Improved work efficiency and long-lasting use due to rust-resistant stainless steel. ■ Introduced Product - SSG-30B *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
